We made BedtimeBibleBytes (or also known as Bedtime Bible Bytes) to make the stories and inspiration of the Bible accessible and fun for children of all ages, whether on their own or with a parent, teacher, or friend. We keep records of each action that users take so we can understand how the application is used, make improvements, and correct problems. Those records do not contain user names, email addresses, or other contact information, and would not allow us to link them to identified individuals. We do not need to know who a user actually is to deliver the Bedtime Bible Bytes to them. Rather, we use a unique random user identifier for each instance of the application that is not linked to a user’s identity. That is the basis of our approach to user privacy. We do not need to know who users are, and we have designed that into our application.
